We’re Falcon Academy’s inclusive family volunteer group. Any family member — parent, grandparent, guardian, or otherwise — is welcome. Our belief: it takes a F.L.O.C.K.to help our Falcons SOAR.
Who are the F.L.O.C.K.?
At Falcon Academy, we know it takes a F.L.O.C.K.to help our Falcons SOAR! Our Falcon F.L.O.C.K. is an inclusive family volunteer group open to parents, grandparents, guardians, and other family members who want to lend a helping hand on campus. F.L.O.C.K. volunteers support our school with morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up traffic assistance, as well as setup and breakdown for PTO and school events throughout the year. Whether you can volunteer regularly or just occasionally, we would love to have you join the F.L.O.C.K.! Every helping wing makes a difference.

Q: Who can join?
A: Any family members that care about the safety of our kids!
Q: How do I join the F.L.O.C.K.?
A: Click the "Register" tab on our website and fill out the necessary information. Once completed, you will be automatically added to the F.L.O.C.K. All volunteers are required to sign the PTO Integrity Contract and Falcon Code of Conduct, and have their ID's Raptor'd in at least once. These requirements will all be available in the front office.
Q: What volunteer opportunities are available?
A: Whether you have 30-minutes or an entire day available to help out, the following volunteer opportunities are available:
AM (Drop-off) Patrol - Help usher traffic efficiently through carline. Keep watch over our kiddos, staff, and parents during morning drop-off (8:15am to 8:50am)
PM (Pick-up) Patrol - Help usher traffice efficiently through carline. Keep watch over our kiddos, staff, and parents during afternoon pick-up (2:30pm to 3:10pm)
Falcon School Carnival - Helping at the ticket table, refreshment table, game booths, patrolling the grounds, etc.
School Play - Help transport large/heavy stage props to and from the play theater and the prop studio
SOAR Assembly Patrol - Keep watch over our kiddos during SOAR Assemblies that happen once a month
Jog-A-Thon Patrol - Keep watch over our kiddos during these special events as well as assist in set-up and breakdown.
Q: I can't participate during school hours, but can I still join the F.L.O.C.K.?
A: Yes!! The F.L.O.C.K. is also mobilized outside of school hours to help with the setup of our annual Jog-A-Thon, transport of stage sets and props for our school play, PTA fundraisers, but most importantly, the F.L.O.C.K. is responsible for the planning, setup, and breakdown of our end-of-the-year school carnival. Whenever our Falcon family needs help, the F.L.O.C.K. is always there.
Q: Is there anything I should know before I start my F.L.O.C.K. duty?
A: Yes, here are the important things you need to know:
Put the phone away. When you're on duty, it is important to give our students, staff, and parents 100% of your attention. For the privacy of our students and staff, NO video or photos on school campus when you are on duty.
Your F.L.O.C.K. shirt is your uniform. You MUST wear your F.L.O.C.K. shirt whenever you are assisting on campus. This helps our students, staff, and parents identify you easily.
F.L.O.C.K. report directly to the school principal. While the PTO has established a budget for the F.L.O.C.K. program, we report directly to the school principal.
